Executive Council Member -Aarti Upadhyay
Aarti Upadhyay started her career as a journalist in 1987 and gradually shifted to the corporate world as an efficient PR person. Having had a successful stint in the corporate world she further moved on as a freelancer, and associating herself with various social, cultural and academic organisations she became a popular presenter and an MC. Aarti has been part of some of the most prominent events held in Delhi in past several years.
Continuing her freelance activities she joined IMCS Media School as its Director in 2006. She is imparting media education to students coming from deep interiors of the country. Currently she is also an English News Broadcaster at All India Radio.
Besides her professional commitment she has also been promoting the cause of a happy, healthy and peaceful society by associating herself with various social organisations.
She participated actively in the media Campaign against ragging in Educational Institutions in India after the death of a medical student Aman Kachroo.
She has been the President of Dr. Sadhna International Women Rights protection Trust,
Member of Angel Foundation, a charity committed for the cause of Girl Child
And is a member and convener of children’s forum at SPPACE, a movement for excellence.
She is also a founder member of Delhi International Film Festival Society.
Besides all this Aarti is a travel writer and has been writing extensively on the subject for more than a decade.
